Resident services in Lucerne

The resident services in Lucerne are responsible for the following tasks, among others: Moving in, moving out, changing your address, confirming your residence, issuing an interim or home residence card, changing your place of residence and registration of dogs.

The Road Traffic Office Lucerne

The Lucerne Road Traffic Office is your point of contact when it comes to admission to road traffic (vehicle driver and vehicle). If you move to Lucerne or within Lucerne, this must also be reported to the Road Traffic Office. As always, the registration period is 14 days after the move.
